Throneward

Throneward is a relentless fantasy tower defense game inspired by Legion TD. Players must defend their throne against 20 waves of escalating monsters. The game features six distinct legions, each with unique powers and playstyles: Inferno scorches foes, Celestial bends the battlefield, Blight spreads decay, and more. Every decision matters: earn gold to recruit stronger units, hire workers to grow income, and unleash mercenaries to sabotage enemy defenses, all while empowering your King to withstand the final assault. The final boss, the Archfiend, will test your strategy to the limit.

The core gameplay is tower defense strategy. Players place defensive units on a grid to stop enemies from reaching the throne. After each wave, gold is earned and can be spent on recruiting new units, upgrading existing ones, hiring workers (to increase per-wave income), or deploying mercenaries (to damage or weaken enemies). Six legions offer unique units and upgrade paths. Players must adapt to enemy types and wave compositions, manage resources wisely, and survive 20 waves to defeat the final boss.
