Sandbox Universe

Sandbox Universe is a space physics simulator where you create, move, and destroy celestial bodies, build star systems, and experiment with gravity.

About the Game

Sandbox Universe is a space physics simulator that puts you in the role of a cosmic creator. You can spawn various celestial bodies such as planets, stars, and black holes, and freely adjust their properties including mass, radius, gravity, and orbital speed. The core of the game is to explore the laws of physics: you can carefully build stable star systems or deliberately create chaotic cosmic disasters like collisions between planets or falling into black holes. The game offers intuitive drag and zoom controls, allowing you to observe the evolution of the universe from any angle. Whether you want to experience the harmony of celestial motion or enjoy destruction, Sandbox Universe has you covered.

How to Play

Players place celestial bodies in space by clicking and dragging, then adjust each body's physical parameters including mass, radius, gravity, and initial velocity. The game simulates gravitational interactions in real time, showing the trajectories of bodies. You can create multi-body systems and observe how they influence each other. The core gameplay is experimental: try different parameter combinations to see if you can form stable orbits or trigger spectacular collisions. There is no fixed goal, encouraging free exploration and creation.

Controls

Drag with mouse to move camera, scroll to zoom. Click on a celestial body to select it, then drag to reposition or adjust parameters via sliders. Click on empty space to create a new body.
