Card Quest

Card Quest is a fantasy-themed card strategy game set in a world of magic and monsters. Players take on the role of a card master, building a ten-card deck and engaging in tactical battles on a compact 3x3 grid. The core mechanic revolves around directional values on each card: players place cards to align strong edges against weak edges of enemy cards, flipping them to their side. A well-placed card can trigger chain reactions, flipping multiple cards in one move. The game features a campaign mode with progressive difficulty, card collection and deck improvement systems. The core gameplay involves placing cards on a 3x3 grid. Each card has four directional values (top, bottom, left, right). Players take turns placing a card on an empty cell or adjacent to an existing card. When placed next to an enemy card, the adjacent values are compared: if the player's value is higher, the enemy card flips to the player's side. Flipped cards may trigger further comparisons, creating chain reactions. The goal is to control more grid spaces than the opponent by the end of the game. Strategic placement and deck building are key to success.
